Software Engineer, AI Engineer (Applied/Software), Full Stack Developer, Machine Learning/ ML Engineer
We are building a Generative AI application to transform how enterprises operate. As a Software Development Engineer, you will work on technical challenges, mentor junior engineers, translate business requirements, build prototypes, invent new features, design and deploy scalable services using Java, Python, and AWS technologies. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Applied Scientists.
Responsibilities- Solve technical challenges and mentor junior engineers.
- Translate business and functional requirements into deliverables.
- Build quick prototypes or proofs of concept in partnership with technology leaders.
- Invent new features, design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and reliable distributed services.
- Work with core languages (primarily Java and Python) and AWS technologies.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Applied Scientists.
- 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
The base salary range for this position in USA, WA, Seattle is $–$ USD annually. Your package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
