- The team is looking for Controls Engineers to support the development of Controls System for complex robotics workcells to be deployed, at scale, to Clients fulfillment center.
- Understand how complex robotics workcells operate, including an understanding of servo drives, industrial networks, safety systems, and integration with host systems.
- Have experience developing and deploying robotics workcells, including commissioning best practices, and troubleshooting methodologies for complex integrated systems.
- Own the development of systems and features to improve system throughput, availability, quality, and improve deployment speed and efficacy.
- Own documentation of system for immediate team as well as partner commissioning and support teams.
- Have experience developing and evaluating metrics to judge performance of machines and systems.
- Have experience with software development for controls systems.
- Scaling deployment base, automated conditioning. Auto recovery from errors. Code refactoring.
- In depth knowledge of & experience developing controls systems including developing PLC and HMI applications and integrating components like drives, barcode readers, and remote sensors.
- Proficiency in multiple IEC 61131-3 languages.
- Understanding of basic network troubleshooting including industrial networks like Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, Profibus/Profinet, etc.
- Knowledge of C, C++ or Java.
- Understanding of AWS technologies
- Experience deploying or managing machines in large-scale, geographically diverse environments.

- Software dev experience ; programming PLC software not as desirable. Less than 25% software dev typically struggle with coding
