About Amazon Quick:

The Role:
We are hiring a Front‑End Engineer III to join a strategic new initiative on the Quick team. You will design and deliver complex, scalable front‑end capabilities across web and mobile platforms, helping define the next generation of AI‑powered user experiences.
A builder with a strong track record of shipping customer‑facing features, experience supporting new product architectures and business models, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment. You approach hard problems with curiosity and solve them with elegant, simple solutions.
Key Job Responsibilities- Own the design and hands‑on development of front‑end architecture, UI frameworks, component libraries, and design systems that power the Amazon Quick experience.
- Lead the full lifecycle of front‑end feature delivery — from technical design through implementation, testing, and release. Influence decisions on the UI tech stack, rendering strategies, and client‑side performance.
- Champion agile methodologies and front‑end Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated UI testing, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and science partners to translate customer needs and design intent into polished, accessible interfaces.
- Mentor engineers and interns, building engineers who can own rather than depend. Actively participate in hiring, conducting interviews, and raising the bar.
- 5+ years of front‑end development experience creating prototypes or wire‑frames for enterprise web applications or workflows.
- Experience developing with MVC/MVVM frameworks (e.g., React.
JS, Angular
JS, Vue).
- Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
- Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.
Base salary range: – USD annually (Seattle, WA). Additional compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Benefits include health insurance, vision, dental, prescription coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and other comprehensive benefits.
