Position: Impinj Hiring DevOps Engineering Intern in Seattle - IoT, RAIN RFID, Automation

Impinj is a leading RAIN RFID provider and Internet of Things pioneer, inventing ways to connect everyday items to the Internet. The Dev Ops Engineering Intern will join the PTE team and work closely with key mentors to develop a Dev Ops software release pipeline. This role focuses on creating automated processes for building, testing, and deploying software.

Responsibilities
  • Help automate steps in the development process, including building, testing, and deploying software
  • Work with version control systems to manage and track code changes
  • Learn and use Dev Ops tools and platforms under guidance from the team
  • Document solutions in a clear and easy-to-understand format
  • Present the completed pipeline and explain how it works
Internship Program

This Summer Internship Cohort begins June 15 and ends September 4 (start date is firm; end date is flexible). All internship positions report on a hybrid basis to the Seattle office.

Qualifications
  • Current BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 1-3+ years of relevant coursework experience
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

    Exposure to Dev Ops, CI/CD, or automation concepts
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms or container technologies is a plus
