Avionics Embedded Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer with strong expertise in both hardware/firmware and software development within safety-critical aerospace environments. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with both DO-254 and DO-178 standards and a solid understanding of certification processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and verify hardware and firmware in compliance with DO-254 guidelines
Develop and maintain embedded software in accordance with DO-178 standards
Participate in system architecture, requirements definition, and traceability activities
Support verification, validation, and certification processes for safety-critical systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, software, and hardware engineering
Produce and review technical documentation required for regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

Prior experience in the aerospace or avionics industry
Hands-on experience with both DO-254 (hardware/firmware) and DO-178 (software) standards (candidates with only one will not be considered)
Experience working on safety-critical systems with Design Assurance Levels (DAL) A, B, or C
Strong understanding of embedded systems design and development
Experience with verification & validation processes in regulated environments
