Software Development Engineer, AWS Partnerships

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has led the cloud computing era since 2006, creating the AWS Partner Network (APN) ecosystem with tens of thousands of consulting and technology partners to promote AWS across industries, company sizes, and regions worldwide. The AWS Partner Systems team supports external and internal Partner Sales, the APN, and other elements that drive the AWS partner ecosystem. We serve partners who sell AWS, customers who use AWS, and internal users who drive AWS sales and adoption via partners.

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to help the team take Marketplace to the next level. As a Software Development Engineer you will own significant portions of the product and will influence our strategy by helping define the next wave of product features and system architecture. You will design and develop services that process millions of transactions in a secure environment, working on complex system software and engaging with front‑end, platform services, and system‑level pieces.

This role demands customer‑centric focus, building quality software, operational excellence, and strong communication with business and technical partners.

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position in Seattle, WA is  –  USD annually; your package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) and will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
