The Disney+ team is seeking a Product Software Engineer II who will contribute to our iOS, Apple TV, and visionOS applications for the App Store. This role requires continuously learning and improving to deliver high‑quality, testable code while collaborating closely with product and design teams to create a delightful viewership experience.

• Build features for iOS, tvOS, and visionOS in Swift.
• Maintain high code quality with unit and integration tests for every feature delivery.
• Regularly review peers’ code to drive continuous improvement and shared knowledge.
• Collaborate with other client platform teams to ensure a great user experience for all Disney+ viewers.
• Specialize in Apple technologies such as UIKit, SwiftUI, AVKit, and Store Kit to build a world‑class application.

• A desire to learn, grow, and share insights with the team.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience in iOS software development, including at least 1 year using Swift.
• 3+ years of industry experience implementing complex user interfaces with UIKit or SwiftUI.
• Experience writing unit‑tested code as part of feature delivery.
• Demonstrated understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with agile processes to help the team be effective and efficient.
• Passion for code quality.

• Experience with Apple’s AVKit framework and HLS.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $123,000 - $165,000 per year and in Santa Monica, CA is $117,500 - $157,500. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits, as appropriate for the level and position offered.
