Join our Event Technology Mobile App team as a Software Development Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI‑driven event experiences. You will spearhead the development and enhancement of our world‑class personalization and AWS Events Mobile App, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for attendees worldwide. - Define and instrument operational metrics to drive continuous model and system improvements, contribute to system design reviews for high‑traffic scenarios (re:Invent scale: 50K+ concurrent users), and partner with product, design, and applied science teams to evaluate new LLM capabilities and agent orchestration patterns.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, raise the engineering bar through code reviews and documentation, and own operational excellence – writing runbooks, designing for graceful degradation, and maintaining high availability during peak event periods.
- 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
