Software Dev Engineer II

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of technology and business consulting services. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our talented team.

• Provide first‑line support and development for all incoming software application issues related to the Client mobile shopping app.
• Perform QA testing and release‑management support for the release and mobile beta release teams.
• Identify automation opportunities and create and implement automated solutions, including developing monitoring tools, troubleshooting/debugging internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, Java), and executing SQL queries.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate support processes and document system requirements.

• Interest in a career in software development and a desire to utilize and expand coding skills across a variety of applications.
• Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to remain professional under pressure.
• Preferred coding skills:
  Perl, C/C++, and/or Java.
• Other desired technical skills:
  Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX.
• A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2‑5 years of relevant experience is required.
