Senior Backend Software Engineer - Machine Moderation Platform, Trust and Safety Responsibilities
- Build a highly scalable, efficient, and robust trust and safety platform and tools.
- Understand product objectives to develop an easy‑to‑use platform that aligns with customer needs.
- Collaborate with trust and safety specialists, experts, and machine learning engineers.
- Improve system design and architecture to ensure high stability and performance of the services.
- Work with Trust and Safety teams to protect Tik Tok globally.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of industrial experience.
- Proficiency in designing data structures, building algorithms, and at least one programming language among python, go, php, c++, or java.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passionate about techniques and solving challenging problems.
- Experience with Big Data systems and related technologies (Hive, Flink, Click House, etc.).
The base salary range for this position in Seattle is $202,160 – $368,220 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
