As a member of the Infrastructure organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. The AWS Managed Operations (MO) organization works to reduce operational load and toil through long‑term engineering projects.
MO builds a best‑in‑class engineering and operations team that owns the day‑to‑day operations for AWS Regions, improving availability, reliability, latency, performance and efficiency.
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to develop products that enable AWS to expand its global footprint. Developers at Amazon work on real‑world problems on a global scale, own systems end‑to‑end, and influence the direction of our technology that impacts hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. Key Job Responsibilities- Design, implement, and deploy software components and features.
- Build solutions to support governance and security of agents.
- Build solutions to convert our platform to agentic‑first interface.
- Have a solid understanding of design approaches and how to best use them.
- Work independently and with your team to deliver software successfully.
- Train new teammates about customers, your team’s software, how it is constructed, tested, operates, and how it fits into the bigger picture.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage Generative AI tools and AI‑assisted development environments to accelerate prototyping, development, validation, and testing workflows.
- Experience using AI‑powered code generation and review tools to iterate quickly on infrastructure automation scripts, configuration templates, and system tooling.
- Apply GenAI capabilities to accelerate test case generation, integration testing, and validation of complex infrastructure components.
- Use GenAI tools to synthesize technical documentation, compliance frameworks, and architectural patterns.
- Be aware of the responsible use of GenAI in security‑sensitive environments.
- 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object‑oriented design.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 6+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Experience in debugging, profiling, and implementing software engineering best practices in large‑scale systems.

BenefitsThe base salary range is $ – $ USD annually. Your package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
