Would you like to do this using the latest cloud computing technologies and become a core part of the largest cloud infrastructure on the planet? AWS is seeking a ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in our Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC).
This position requires a current active TS/SCI clearance.
Key Job Responsibilities- Train and operate AWS Systems Manager (SSM) services in air‑gapped regions and support government customers.
- Deploy and maintain services at massive scale, ensuring operational scalability.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production software issues.
- Develop monitoring solutions and maintain software configurations.
- Implement fixes for internally developed code in Perl, Ruby, C/C++, Java, Python.
- Track and resolve technical challenges.
- Collaborate with development teams on AWS projects.
- Enhance and document existing software and support processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
- 1+ year of designing or architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scalability).
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
- Programming experience in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Go, Power Shell, or Ruby.
- Active U.S. government security clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
The base salary range for this position is $–$ USD annually. The Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
