Description
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling to ensure continual access to AWS services. Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions for inventory and warehouse management systems that support AWS's global infrastructure operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements
- Participate in code reviews, provide meaningful feedback, and maintain high-quality, maintainable code
- Take operational responsibility for software systems, identify root causes of issues, and implement permanent fixes to improve reliability and performance
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand business value and requirements, ensuring software aligns with long-term architectural strategy
You’ll review system metrics, address overnight operational issues, design and implement features for supply chain management, participate in code reviews, and work with business stakeholders to refine requirements. You’ll analyze complex data patterns, build automated solutions for inventory orchestration, and mentor new team members on system architecture and best practices.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, scaling) of new and existing systems
- 1+ years designing and developing large-scale software applications, tools, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
