Your work will directly impact the productivity of security engineers worldwide and strengthen the security posture of AWS and its customers.

• Drive operational excellence by designing and implementing software processes, procedures, and intelligent automations that streamline security response workflows.
• Build agentic automations that empower security engineers to work more efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with global security teams to identify high‑impact opportunities for automation and tooling improvements.
• Leverage modern technologies and AWS services to create scalable solutions that enhance security operations.
• Deliver software that delights users with measurable efficiency and productivity gains.

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Experience programming with Amazon Bedrock or another Gen AI platform.

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

The base salary range for this position is $ – $ USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
