About the Team
The Experience Library team is part of the Digital Marketing Technology organization build and own a content authoring and rendering platform that powers marketing pages across , creating high‑quality, localized, and performant web experiences at scale.
Role SummarySenior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) – senior frontend‑focused full‑stack engineer on the Page Builder platform. You will be a key technical contributor and domain expert, designing and building high‑quality, scalable frontend components, collaborating closely with Product and UX, and helping elevate engineering practices.
What You'll Actually Be Doing- Design, build, and maintain high‑quality, production‑grade frontend and full‑stack features for the Page Builder platform using JavaScript/Type Script, React, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert for one or more domains within the platform (blade components library, CMS integration, or rendering pipelines).
- Build and ship modular, reusable, and accessible UI components that power marketing pages at scale.
- Take ownership of features from design through execution: writing design specs, defining test strategies, and delivering code that meets quality, performance, and observability standards.
- Actively integrate AI tools (Agentforce, Slackbot, Cursor, Claude, Codex) into your engineering workflow to accelerate development.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Principal Engineers, Architects and cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver exceptional digital experiences.
- Mentor AMTS and MTS team members through pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to code reviews, monitor features in production, and champion engineering best practices and quality standards.
- Help manage delivery complexity: slice stories and epics, define tasks, and expose dependencies and risks during sprint planning.
- Present designs to internal groups and contribute to internal retrospectives, playbooks, and documentation.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on frontend and full‑stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Type Script; hands‑on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred; Vue, Angular, or Ember also considered).
- Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and CSS frameworks such as Sass or Tailwind.
- Experience with Node.js and building backend services that support frontend experiences; BFF pattern a plus.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems, particularly Word Press and/or Contentful, and understanding of how CMS‑driven content flows into frontend rendering pipelines.
- Proven experience building scalable, performant web applications on public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure also considered).
- Experience consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, with a solid understanding of API design and security best practices.
- Strong understanding of web performance fundamentals such as Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, caching strategies, and CDN behavior.
- Experience with frontend testing methodologies and frameworks (Jest, Cucumber, Selenium, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead and deliver features of medium‑to‑high complexity, from design through production.
- Experience mentoring engineers, providing technical coaching and constructive code review feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document features and present designs to peers and stakeholders.
- A related technical degree required.
- AI‑first approach to engineering, actively using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, etc.) to accelerate development.
- Experience with internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n), building experiences that scale across multiple languages and regions.
- Experience contributing to a design system or component library.
- Familiarity with Word Press as a CMS platform, including theme development or Page/REST API consumption.
- Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, npm, or Yarn.
