Job Summary

Senior Application Engineer – AI Venture Studio delivery team. Responsible for building secure, cloud‑hosted applications that enable agentic AI products and cross‑functional knowledge infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and operate backend services, APIs, and application components for AI Accelerator products using AWS‑native services and BMS‑preferred AI tools.
  • Build and host agentic workflows with Lang Graph, developing retrieval, memory, and context services backed by AWS storage and database solutions.
  • Implement secure application patterns, including authentication, authorization, secrets management, and auditability.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code, and automated testing for cloud AI applications.
  • Collaborate with AI, data, frontend engineers, and product teams to solve delivery challenges, refine backlogs, and coach peers through reviews and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software, cloud, or platform engineering with increasing responsibility.
  • Hands‑on experience developing cloud‑native applications on AWS (S3, RDS, Athena, Redis, Open Search, Lambda, IAM, VPC).
  • Proficiency in Python/FastAPI, Type Script/Node, or comparable frameworks.
  • Experience with containers, CI/CD, Git Hub workflows, and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CDK, Cloud Formation).
  • Experience building LLM, RAG, or agentic AI applications with Lang Graph, Lang Chain, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with MCP/FastMCP, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and structured output validation.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in fast‑moving, cross‑functional agile teams.
Compensation

Base salary ranges by location (example):

• Cambridge Crossing: $151,280 – $183,319

• Madison, NJ: $137,530 – $166,654

• Princeton, NJ: $137,530 – $166,654

• Seattle, WA: $151,280 – $183,319.
Additional incentive cash and stock may be available.
