Role Description

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of User Experience Design to lead the Salesforce Developer Experience (DX) Design team. In this high-impact leadership role, you will define and execute the end-to-end design strategy for Salesforce's suite of professional developer tools.

You will oversee the user experience for game-changing innovations like Agentforce Vibes-our next-generation AI-driven developer canvas and agentic coding assistant-alongside core platform tools including Salesforce DX (SFDX), IDE extensions (VS Code/Code Builder), Lightning Web Components (LWC) tooling, Command Line Interfaces (CLI), and CI/CD developer workflows and tools.

You will manage and grow a world-class team of DX-focused Product Designers and Design Engineers. You will partner closely with Platform Product Management, Software Engineering, Architecture, and Technical Content teams to turn complex technical workflows into elegant, intuitive, and performant developer tools.

Formulate a multi-year user experience strategy for Salesforce Developer Tools, establishing a unified ecosystem across CLI, IDE extensions, cloud sandboxes, and AI-assisted canvases.

Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and User Experience Designers to translate high-level UX vision into technically feasible, performant code architectures.
