As a Software Engineer 1, you will be working closely with senior level developers to contribute to the design, development, and testing of telecommunication network packet-processing pipelines. You will focus on creating high-performance, low-latency networking solutions, primarily through C programming and performance optimization techniques

- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of packet-processing pipelines for high-performance systems, under the guidance of senior engineers
- Implement and maintain networking features in low-latency environments
- Write clean, tested, maintainable C code as part of a collaborative engineering team
- Write and execute tests for new and existing features to ensure correctness and reliability
- Help troubleshoot networking issues related to performance and functionality
- Participate in code reviews — both giving and receiving feedback
- Learn and apply performance optimization techniques for multi-core systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience/projects)
- Some exposure to C or C++, including pointers and manual memory management — via coursework (CS, EE, or other engineering discipline), internship, or personal/lab projects
- Working understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP)
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment- 0–2 years of professional experience — new grads and career-changers from adjacent technical fields are encouraged to apply
- Personal, academic, or internship projects involving systems-level programming (e.g., a network client/server, a shell, a memory allocator, an OS course project)
- Exposure to Linux
- Familiarity with multithreaded/concurrent programming (e.g., locks, race conditions, thread-safety concepts) - Interest in networking, telecom, or 4G/5G technologies (no prior domain experience required)
