Position OverviewBishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Freshman Football Quarterback Coach for the season. Applicants should have previous coaching experience at the HS level, be 21 years or older, possess a valid Washington State driver’s license, and have current First Aid/CPR/AED certification. This position reports to the Athletic Director.
Freshman Football is a Fall Sport. The season runs from August 24 – November 14.
Responsibilities- Compliance with all Bishop Blanchet HS, Metro League, and WIAA policies and procedures.
- Supervision of student-athletes during all team activities, including practice and game times. Coaches must be available between 3 – 10 pm, Monday – Saturday.
- Effective communication with players, coaching colleagues, and parents.
- Promotion of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fair play among team members.
- Developing players within a unified V/JV/Fr system.
- Teaching the rules of the game and technique to improve player development.
- Summer Activities and Camp participation is recommended with the job.
Stipend: $2250. This is a seasonal, stipended volunteer position and is not benefit eligible.
