Position Overview

Bishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Freshman Football Wide Receiver Coach for the 2026‑2027 season. The position reports to the Athletic Director and supports the school’s Catholic identity and commitment to diversity.

Qualifications
  • Previous coaching experience at the high school level.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license.
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission and inclusive values.
Responsibilities
  • Compliance with all Bishop Blanchet HS, Metro League, and WIAA policies and procedures.
  • Supervision of student‑athletes during all team activities, ensuring availability during practice and game times (3‑10 pm, Monday‑Saturday).
  • Effective communication with players, coaching colleagues, and parents.
  • Promotion of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fair play among team members.
  • Developing players within a unified V/JV/Fr system.
  • Teaching the rules of the game and techniques to improve player development.
  • Recommended participation in summer activities and camp.
Compensation

Stipend: $2,250 – This is a stipended volunteer position and is not benefit‑eligible.
