Courier​/Swing Drvr​/DOT

Responsibilities

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED.

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials, following FMCSA enforcement guidance.

• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license as required by state regulations for the assigned vehicle type and maintain a good driving record.
• Non-covered safety‑sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely.

Must be 21 or older and have held a valid driver's license for the previous three years.

Starting at $25.65/hr up to $38.93/hr compensation may vary by experience, market level, and location.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Position will remain open until 4.24.26.
