Responsibilities
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or GED.
Minimum ExperienceSix (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials, following FMCSA enforcement guidance.
- Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
- Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations.
- Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license as required by state regulations for the assigned vehicle type and maintain a good driving record.
- Non-covered safety‑sensitive position.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely.
Must be 21 or older and have held a valid driver's license for the previous three years.
PayStarting at $25.65/hr up to $38.93/hr compensation may vary by experience, market level, and location.
Additional DetailsFull-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Position will remain open until 4.24.26.
