Shuttle Driver – Responsibilities
- Transport guests to and/or from the hotel, hospital, casino, and local area in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner using safe driving practices.
- Assist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick‑up during arrival and departure.
- Maintain vehicle activity and maintenance logs.
- Shuttle guests to destinations approved by manager and client contact; learn and remember pick‑up and destination points.
- Know all property outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, main attractions, parking rates, etc.
- Communicate by telephone, two‑way radio, and in person in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner; greet guests within 30 seconds and use their last name when appropriate; maintain composure under pressure.
- Operate the vehicle (seating up to fifteen people), inspect vehicle at shift start for functional lights, signals, brakes, air‑conditioning, etc.; monitor condition and report malfunctions.
- Maintain guest confidentiality per HIPAA requirements; secure client financial and identifying information.
- Assist patrons with entering and exiting the vehicle; use specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts when required.
The hourly base pay range is $20.74 per hour plus tips.
Work schedule:
Friday–Sunday 6PM–2AM;
Monday–Thursday 6PM–1AM.

- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years old; valid driver’s license; must pass criminal background, MVR, drug screen and other client requirements.
- Driver of manual transmission vehicle.
- Pass annual/semiannual MVR checks; complete Wheelchair Safety Training; possess current Medical Examiner’s Certificate; maintain DOT endorsements and bi‑annual physical exam as applicable.
- One to three months related experience or training.
- Ability to read and write standard English, comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence.
- Basic math skills: add/subtract up to three‑digit numbers and multiply/divide by 10’s and 100’s using U.S. monetary units.
- Understand 24‑hour and military time; understand rates applicable to time passed.
