This full‑time position requires in‑role training at an operating site that will last more than five weeks. The training will be located more than 50 miles away from your home site, and all travel accommodations are booked and paid for by Amazon.
Since opening our “virtual” doors in 1995, we’ve continually pushed the boundaries of what’s possible. Our entire business works hard to delight our customers – from the moment an order is placed online to the seamless coordination of that order behind the scenes. We strive to stay agile, fluid, and intentional, guided by our Leadership Principle of Bias for Action. We aim to become the most customer‑centric company on Earth.
Rural Super Rural (RSR) is an exciting organization within Amazon dedicated to ensuring our customers receive their deliveries and are satisfied with their service, even in the most remote areas. RSR is a blend of operations and support teams focused on innovating the last‑mile delivery process while bringing smiles to our customers’ faces.
Amazon is seeking self‑motivated Driver Trainers to join our team and help build a customer‑centric network of Delivery Associates in the communities where we operate. As a Driver Trainer, you have a passion for mentoring; you are comfortable teaching and guiding in large groups; and you believe in hands‑on training and conducting drive‑alongs to instill safe practices.
As a Driver Trainer, you are responsible for establishing the right driver training culture in your delivery station, setting up the training experience, and independently instructing training sessions. You educate Delivery Associates on the foundational safety, quality, and productivity aspects that are a key part of their daily routine. You enable their success by adapting to different learning styles and taking a hands‑on approach to demonstrate what good looks like.
You exhibit Learn & Be Curious by answering all questions and finding answers if you are not sure of the correct response.
As a Driver Trainer, you lead by example and demonstrate Amazon’s Leadership Principles at all times. In this role you play a key part in exceeding customer expectations by ensuring Delivery Associates are set for success to deliver orders on time and to the right place.
