Position Overview
Responsible for the operation of paratransit vehicles to carry vulnerable passengers to various destinations within the service area in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Paratransit operators provide critical services to the community, supporting the mission to enhance quality of life, bolster mobility, and create opportunities through transit.
Summary ofRequired Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate (GED) AND five consecutive years of licensed driving experience. - Licensures and

This is a safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with CTS policy and federal regulations. Represented by the Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 587.

Starting wage is $23.43 per hour, moving to $24.90 per hour after successful completion of the 180-day probationary period. Paratransit operators receive pay increases on their anniversaries up to $29.29 wage scale) and annual cost of living increases.
