The aircraft fueler is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling, defueling, and servicing of aircraft at the airport. This position requires calculating weight, balance, and volume to interpret aircraft loading instructions related to fuel operations.
Responsibilities- Fuel aircraft safely and efficiently using fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts.
- Maintain accurate accounting of all fuel transactions.
- Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and ensure it remains clean and functional.
- Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
- Defuel aircraft as directed.
At all times you are responsible for the health, safety, and wellbeing of yourself and others. You will receive training and follow all workplace health and safety rules and procedures. The company prohibits alcohol and drug misuse and conducts regular substance abuse testing to enforce this policy.
Requirements- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Basic math calculation skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Availability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Preferred prior experience, including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Commercial Driver’s License (required).
