Inspect vessels and peripheral equipment prior to voyage to ensure efficient, safe operation and conformance to regulations and company policies.;
Operate vessel, when safe to do so, in oceans, bays, lakes, rivers or coastal waters as directed by supervisor.;
Direct crew activities while deployed.;
Deploy containment boom and other spill response equipment as necessary.;
Document and keep current all vessel logs and inspections.
