OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 23 stores in WA,  OR.

Drive and deliver product to customers in a safe, productive, efficient, accurate and timely manner—following established policies and procedures.

• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on the vehicle. Verify the load has accurate cylinders and hard goods. Check that all cylinders have proper shipping labels.
• Fill out the truck manifest prior to leaving the store. Make sure the truck has a first aid kit, triangles, accident kit, haz‑mat guide, etc. Check straps and replace bad ones.
• Ensure all cylinder transactions on invoices are correct and obtain signatures on all invoices.
• Fill out daily trip records including log book and duty sheets.
• Inform supervisor of all moving violations (personal and work‑related). Follow all reporting requirements for accidents.
• Report any vehicle repairs to the supervisor as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned.

• At least 1 year of delivery experience.
• Minimum 1 year of previous route‑sales experience plus 1 year of customer‑service experience preferred.
• Class “A” or “B” Commercial Driver’s License with Haz‑Mat endorsement.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Knowledge of safety principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to respond to clients and customers.
• Frequent lifting up to 80 pounds and occasional lifting or moving up to 150 pounds with help or a proper lifting device.
• Ability to work independently, establish priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.
• Must pass a drug screen, medical physical and background check.
• Salary Range:
  Expected hiring salary is $30.00/hr‑DOE. The salary range represents the low and high ends of the base salary for this position which is $30.00/hr‑$45.00/hr.

Company‑paid life insurance is $50,000. 401(k) with company match and employee discount. Paid time off includes 8 paid holidays per year, vacation is prorated based on hire date and employees are eligible to use vacation effective January after hire date, sick leave accrues at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked, jury duty (up to 30 days) and bereavement leave.

Clothing allowance program. Voluntary benefits include life and AD&D insurance. Employees are eligible for most benefits on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. Some benefits have different qualifying periods; medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance are effective on the 1st of the month following hire date.
