Salary range is $81k to $176k with a midpoint of $122k. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.

GENERAL
PURPOSE:
Under general direction of the Manager – Service Disruptions, works with operating partners to ensure development, coordination, and delivery of a bus bridging program for Sound Transit. The Senior Program Manager - Bus Bridging is responsible for coordinating with partners to ensure agency expectations are met with the level of service for Sound Transit’s passengers. This role is responsible for deep coordination with partners, internal and external, to ensure work is completed in advance of planned service disruptions and support program management in the event of unplanned disruptions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide support to the Manager – Service Disruptions to drive operating partners through detailed performance management and utilization of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) against service performance standards.
- Work with operating and transit partners to define and establish a bus bridging program, determine benchmarks, establish mobility recovery options and communication plans, and implement and monitor the program.
- Coordinate daily with third party operating partners to understand how Sound Transit can support partners in increasing KPI trends where trends are too low and lower KPI trends where trends are too high.
- Document and analyze under-and over-performance and trends.
- Participate in budget development for bus bridging in collaboration with Finance.
- Provides day to day oversight and policy direction, enforces agreement and contractual obligations, and provides clarity in all bus bridging-related matters; oversees the [EP1.1]audits and training documentation; interfaces with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs); identifies cost savings areas and any possible efficiencies;…
