Warehouse Associate

Duties

• Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move, load, unload, and organize inventory efficiently.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders with accuracy.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order fulfillment tasks.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using picking & packing techniques, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Stock shelves and organize products within the warehouse to optimize space utilization and facilitate quick access.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels using basic math skills.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by loading trucks, unloading shipments, and ensuring proper storage of goods.

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or RF scanners is highly desirable; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software is advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy in order picking & packing.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with physical demands such as lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
