Warehouse Associate, Distribution Center

Ready to grow your career? Empire Today is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our hardworking Distribution Center team. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for completing daily assigned warehouse tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

$22.50 per hour

• Daily warehouse work activities, including (but not limited to):
• Daily pre- and post-loadout preparation and activities
• Receive, unload shipments and verify for accuracy
• Cycle counts
• Picking, cutting, staging goods as needed
• Daily building cleanup and maintenance
• Regular warehouse audits to ensure safety and cleanliness of all parts of the warehouse
• Safely operate forklift and/or other warehouse machinery (requires certification)
• Perform and document machinery safety checks
• Inventory counts
• Proper completion of payroll activities
• Successful and timely completion of all required training

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift operating experience preferred
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred
• Ability to lift or push 50-75 lbs as required
• Commitment to customer service and maintaining an excellent attendance record
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
