Amazon Quick Ship Warehouse Associate Job Overview

As an Amazon Quick Ship Warehouse Associate, you’ll enhance the customer shopping experience by working at the core of Amazon’s fastest delivery operation. You'll work in a retail warehouse environment, similar in size to a grocery store, where customers can order groceries and everyday essentials for ultra-fast delivery. You'll work alongside team members and delivery partners to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

The environment includes room temperature spaces, with reach-in refrigeration and freezer spaces. We will provide appropriate safety gear for all work areas.

Please Note: This role requires flexibility to work at different Quick Ship Warehouse locations near your primary work location. You will need to pick up shifts at any of the available locations to meet the required minimum of four hours per week. Available shifts vary by location and are based on customer demand.

Job Requirements

Be 18 years or older

Understand and follow instructions in English

Lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach for up to five hours during shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation

Work in room temperatures, with reach-in refrigerators (35°F-40°F) and freezers (below 32°F)

Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around

Go up and down stairs (where applicable)

Handle a variety of products including everyday essentials, as well as groceries (produce, alcohol, and meat—including prepackaged pork and seafood)

This role may require you to work across multiple Quick Ship Warehouses. Shifts will be offered at various sites to ensure you meet the minimum requirement of four hours per week, and availability will vary by location depending on customer demand.

Prepare customer orders for quick delivery

Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy

Use smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders

Receive and process truck deliveries

Stock shelves and manage inventory

Process customer returns

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Collaborate with team members and delivery partners to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Schedule Options

Shift Options. Early Morning, Daytime, Evening, and Overnight shifts.

Weekly Hours. Flexible Part-Time (0 - 19 hours).

Temperature. The warehouse is climate-controlled, but you may experience temperature changes when working with the reach-in refrigerated and freezer areas.

Noise level. It can get noisy provide hearing protection if you need it.
