Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Coordinator for an opportunity in south Seattle, WA. This role supports the daily flow of materials, inventory, inbound deliveries, and outbound shipments within a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator will be a key point of contact for drivers, carriers, vendors, customers, and internal warehouse teams. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate outbound shipments, prepare shipping documents, schedule carrier pickups, and verify shipment accuracy before departure.
- Receive incoming materials, match deliveries to purchase orders, inspect for shortages or damage, and document discrepancies.
- Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Lading, packing slips, shipping labels, receiving records, and inventory transactions.
- Serve as a primary contact for drivers, carriers, vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding pickups, deliveries, shipment status, and documentation.
- Update inventory and shipping systems accurately, support cycle counts, assist with reconciliations, and maintain organized records.
- Partner with warehouse personnel to stage products, support loading and unloading, maintain efficient material flow, and follow safety procedures.
- Pay: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour.

- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activity for inbound materials and outbound customer shipments.
- Prepare and verify Bills of Lading, packing slips, labels, receiving documents, and shipment records.
- Communicate with carriers, truck drivers, vendors, customers, and warehouse teams to resolve shipment and delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions, documentation, data entry, and shipment tracking records.
- 3-5 years of shipping and receiving experience.
- Experience preparing and processing Bills of Lading and related shipping documentation.
- Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and inventory control procedures.
- Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate professionally with drivers, carriers, vendors, customers, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to assist with loading, unloading, staging, and general warehouse support as needed.
- Commitment to following warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Forklift certification strongly preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with ERP, WMS, inventory management, or shipping software systems.
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics best practices.
