Certified Friction Crane Operator
McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Certified Friction Crane Operator
. The right candidate will be willing to perform other related duties outside the cab in addition to operating the crane. We are a drug-free workplace, and you must consent to drug test and background checks.
The operator must have good operational skills to be able to produce high volume quality work in a safety-conscious environment. The operator must be able to effectively communicate with boat captains, foremen, and laborers to produce quality work in high volume, time-sensitive conditions. The operator must be willing to perform other related duties outside of operating the crane.
This position is based in Tremble, Arkansas.
Responsibilities- Operate a 260-ton Manitowoc 4000W (or similar) friction crane on water or in related settings.
- Perform related duties outside of the cab as needed and directed.
- Communicate effectively with boat captains, foremen, and laborers to ensure high-volume, time-sensitive work is completed safely and to quality standards.
- Experienced in operating a 260-ton Manitowoc 4000W (or similar) friction crane
- Prior experience operating cranes on water is preferred
- Pass a drug test and background check
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Valid driver"s license
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Compensation Package: $35.00 - $45.00/hour; DOE.
