Job Description & How to Apply Below

Earthtone Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to provide strategic leadership while remaining actively involved in project execution.

This is not a traditional office‑only management position. We are looking for a leader who enjoys being hands‑on, successfully managing 2–3 active commercial construction projects, while mentoring and developing the next generation of Project Managers.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering successful commercial construction projects, building strong client relationships, improving operational processes, and developing high‑performing teams. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to the COO and Executive Team by helping strengthen project execution, financial performance, and operational excellence across the organization.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to have a meaningful impact not only on projects, but on the people and systems that drive Earthtone Construction's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personally manage 2–3 active commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Review contracts, scopes of work, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, and profitability.
  • Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Earthtone Construction's quality standards.
Leadership & Mentorship
  • Mentor, coach, and develop Project Managers and Project Engineers.
  • Serve as the primary technical and operational resource for project teams.
  • Provide guidance on complex project challenges, contract administration, financial management, scheduling, and client communications.
  • Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings with direct reports.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new Project Managers.
  • Promote accountability while fostering professional growth and career development.
  • Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement throughout the Operations team.
Operational Leadership
  • Oversee multiple active projects while ensuring consistency in project execution.
  • Review project financials, forecasts, budgets, and WIP reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and project management processes.
  • Assist with estimating, budgeting, and preconstruction planning when needed.
  • Support company initiatives that improve project delivery, communication, and operational performance.
  • Help establish and maintain project management standards and best practices across the organization.
Financial Management
  • Review budgets, cost reports, forecasts, billings, and cash flow.
  • Monitor project profitability and implement corrective action when necessary.
  • Identify financial risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting throughout the life of every project.
Client & Business Development
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Represent Earthtone Construction with professionalism and integrity.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business and new project opportunities.
  • Assist with business development efforts and strategic client relationships when appropriate.
Safety & Quality
  • Champion Earthtone Construction's safety culture.
  • Ensure OSHA and company safety standards are consistently followed.
  • Conduct periodic project audits and jobsite visits.
  • Promote quality workmanship and continuous improvement across all projects.
Executive Leadership
  • Provide regular project updates and strategic recommendations to the COO and Executive Team.
  • Participate in operational planning, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Assist leadership with long‑term planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote and model Earthtone Construction's values, culture, and leadership expectations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Mentor and oversee assigned Project Managers.
  • Supervise Project Engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents…
