Aboutthe Clinician's Workday
The gastroenterologist will provide inpatient-only gastroenterology coverage during 24-hour call shifts, with shifts structured from Friday at 7:00 AM through Friday at 7:00 AM. Clinical responsibilities include performing colonoscopies and EGDs at a volume of 15-20 procedures per day, as well as inpatient rounding and consults with variable volume. Documentation is completed through EPIC EMR. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for this on-site locum tenens assignment.
