The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our outpatient team at the Sebring VA Clinic in Sebring, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to Veterans in a collaborative environment focused on quality, continuity, and clinical excellence.
Position Overview
The physician will deliver comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Veterans.
Duties Include
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a broad range of acute and chronic conditions
- Deliver longitudinal primary care to an assigned patient panel
- Manage preventative care and chronic disease management
- Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services
- Utilize evidence-based medicine and VA clinical guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record
