THE SCHOOL BOARD OF HIGHLANDS COUNTY
Position TitleData Operator
AssignmentData Operator 3 - Elementary/Middle School
Minimum Qualifications- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years experience in a clerical or paraprofessional position
Ability to perform essential functions and tasks which may include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force as frequently as necessary; lifting, crawling, kneeling, bending, stooping, pulling, and pushing, if required.
Satisfactory clearance of a criminal history records check and drug screening
Additional Desired QualificationsDemonstrates skill in use of office equipment, including computers
Primary Performance Responsibilities- Updates student database as new data is received for each data element
- Records attendance
- Generates reports for personnel as needed (e.g., ESE, FTE, Attendance, Membership, Health, grades, etc.)
- Processes new registrations, requests records, makes new cumulative folders, processes incoming cumulative folders and prints withdrawals
- Serves on SARC Committee
- Prepares reports in October and February for each FTE survey period, including December, Summer School, and end-of-year surveys
- Attends meetings at district office as scheduled
- Prepares and maintains files relating to data entry
- Assists in secretarial duties as needed
Performs all other duties as assigned by the principal and/or assistant principal
ContractLength of contract and number of hours worked are determined by specific allocation as approved annually during planning-budgeting process
AppraisalPerformance will be appraised annually in accordance with School Board policies
PaygradeAccording to the School Board of Highlands County Non-instructional Support Personnel Salary Schedule
