Position: Lunchroom Monitor (Part-Time Hourly) - Job #4534

Monitor

The School Board of Highlands County position title is Monitor. The assignment includes monitoring lunchroom, campus, and study hall. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrated skill in using materials, equipment, and procedures associated with the performance of duties in the specific position, satisfactory clearance of a criminal history records check and drug screening, and physical requirements to perform essential functions and tasks which may include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force as frequently as necessary;

lifting, crawling, kneeling, bending, stooping, pulling, and pushing, if required; prolonged standing also required. Additional desired job qualifications do not exist at this time. Primary performance responsibilities include monitoring students during the assigned duty. Other duties as assigned by the supervising administrator. The length of employment period and number of hours worked are determined by specific allocations as approved annually during the planning-budgeting process.

Performance will be appraised in accordance with School Board policies. Pay grade is based upon the miscellaneous salary schedule. Non-discrimination statement:
