Overview
This position is based in Sebring, FL and requires daily travel within Highlands and/or Hardee County. It is full-time, Mon‑Fri 8am‑5pm.
NOTE:
Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration REQUIRED.

- Provide personal care services to patients
- Apply safety principles and proper body mechanics for personal and supportive care such as ambulation, transferring, assisting with normal range of motion, positioning, and household chores
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as assigned
- Perform homemaking and other environmental services as assigned
- Observe, report, and document any changes in patient status; if unable to perform a certain task, report to the primary nurse
- Follow specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care; written instructions are to be received prior to the delivery of services
- Assist patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist
- Perform and record simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant (CNA) as per state certification/registration requirements – REQUIRED
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance
