Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) — In-Home, Florida

Sebring and Highlands County sit along US-27 and the Lake Jackson corridor, with steady auto-injury referrals from those routes and personal-injury work throughout the county. Most visits are crash-recovery cases billed through Florida PIP or Med Pay. From a Sebring home base our PTAs commonly cover Avon Park, Lake Placid, and into Highland Park and Lorida. The rural geography means longer-than-average drives between some visits, but route density inside Sebring proper is excellent.

Sebring sits in Highlands County. A heavy retiree population and consistent post-surgical, balance, and chronic-condition referrals combine with light clinic-based competition. Rural drives are longer between some visits, but route density inside Sebring proper is excellent. Communities covered from a Sebring base include Avon Park, Lake Placid, Highland Park, Lorida.

PT Near Me is a Florida in-home physical therapy company. Our own licensed clinicians treat injury and post-accident patients one-on-one in their homes. We re hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team and deliver skilled therapy in patients  homes — a strong fit for a motivated PTA who values autonomy, flexible scheduling, and patient-centered care, with competitive per-visit pay, hours you set, and the freedom to add visits whenever you want.

We handle scheduling and the administrative back-office so you can focus on treating.

What you do:
  • Deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan of care in patients  homes — therapeutic exercise, mobility and gait training, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and trigger-point techniques.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, mobility strategies, and safety.
  • Document each visit accurately and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
  • Keep every home visit safe and professional.
  • Treat a range of cases — post-accident, post-surgical, and chronic-condition patients.
What you need:
  • Associate s degree from an accredited PTA program.
  • Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).
  • Knowledge of outpatient/home rehab techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to manage your time and service area independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for helping patients regain function at home.
  • Home-based care experience preferred.
What we offer:
  • Competitive per-visit pay (rates discussed by region during intake).
  • Flexible scheduling — set your own hours and caseload.
  • Minimal commute — patients in their homes, near you.
  • Scheduling and administrative back-office handled for you.
  • Supportive team and streamlined documentation tools.
