Job Description:

Maintains and updates program website, ensuring accurate representation of the program and accreditation requirements. Coordinates with Program Director and/or Chief Residents to maintain and distribute resident rotation schedules, call schedules, clinical assignments, time off/time away, and conference schedules. Other duties as assigned. Manages administrative aspects of appropriate accrediting bodies. Compiles data and reports for annual updates to accrediting bodies. Manages logistics for the Program Evaluation Committee to conduct program evaluations and document improvements.

Prepares Program Letters of Agreement per accreditation guidelines. Assists with duty hour oversight and violations. Recommends new or revised program policies and procedures to meet accreditation requirements. Prepares evaluations and case/patient logs for program director meetings with residents. Enters Milestone data for each resident semi-annually. Initiates decisions and communications on behalf of the Program Director within prescribed limits of authority.

Reviews and recommends changes and updates annually to residency/fellowship manuals.

  • Medical terminology knowledge [Preferred]

Education:

  • Bachelor's [Required]

Field of Study:

  • in healthcare administration, business, or health-related field

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years of administrative or related work experience in an office environment [Required]

Additional Information:

  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR 4+ years of related work experience [Required]
