MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR to join our team at The Palms  a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility, ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of our residents, staff, and visitors.

• Oversee the maintenance of the physical plant, including routine repairs, renovations, and special projects
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and reduce costs
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues promptly
• Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repairs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role, with a strong background in facilities management
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Proven track record of success in leading and supervising maintenance teams, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and regulations, with the ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments and standards
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and standing
