ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the daily operations of the unit, ensuring that high-quality patient care is provided in accordance with our facility's mission and values
Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and development
Conduct performance evaluations, address performance issues, and provide coaching and feedback to staff members
Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including patient charts, staffing schedules, and inventory management
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Collaborate with other departments, such as therapy and social services, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
Demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice and remaining current with industry best practices
Current LPN/RN license in the state of Florida
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on nursing leadership and management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff members
Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
