As a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self‑harm. From a remote station, you will closely monitor patients’ physical and emotional well‑being and communicate concerns in real time, enabling the care team to respond quickly.
Responsibilities- Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well‑being.
- Identify risks such as falls or self‑harm and promptly alert the care team to intervene quickly.
- Document patient activity and changes accurately and clearly throughout your shift.
- Honor patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times.
- Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
