Unit Manager LPN/RN
Location: Sebring, Florida
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Unit Manager LPN/RN to join our team at The Palms at Sebring! As a Unit Manager LPN/RN, you will play a vital role in leading our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a positive and supportive work environment. Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the unit, ensuring that high-quality patient care is provided in accordance with our facility's mission and values
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and development
- Conduct performance evaluations, address performance issues, and provide coaching and feedback to staff members
- Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including patient charts, staffing schedules, and inventory management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments, such as therapy and social services, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
- Demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice and remaining current with industry best practices
- Current LPN/RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on nursing leadership and management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff members
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
