Staff Accountant

COSCO SHIPPING Logistics North America Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the Intermodal Bridge Transport (IBT) Department with invoice processing, payment administration, and financial recordkeeping.

This position is responsible for reviewing and verifying invoices, maintaining accurate records in SAP, and supporting timely and compliant payment operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while supporting daily accounting functions.

• Collect, organize, and review vendor invoices and supporting documentation.
• Verify invoice accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Accurately enter financial data into the SAP system and generate accounting vouchers.
• Prepare and submit payment plans and related documentation for approval.
• Process payments through designated payment systems in accordance with company requirements.
• Print and maintain bank statements and accounts payable records.
• Organize and maintain financial files and documentation in compliance with company recordkeeping standards.
• Assist with routine financial reporting and other accounting-related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.

• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior internship experience or exposure to accounting, accounts payable/receivable, or financial operations is preferred.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and invoice/payment processing workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or similar accounting software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
