Medicaid Revenue Cycle & AP Specialist

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Medicaid Revenue Cycle & Accounts Payable Specialist on behalf of a mission-driven organization that provides essential services and support to communities throughout the region. This is an onsite, 2-month contract opportunity based in Secaucus, New Jersey, with the potential for extension.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and healthcare-related billing processes. The Medicaid Revenue Cycle & Accounts Payable Specialist will support daily financial operations while helping ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient recordkeeping. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in maintaining organized and reliable financial systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process accounts payable transactions, maintain vendor records, and support timely payment activities

• Generate invoices, post payments, monitor account balances, and assist with collections follow-up as needed

• Perform account, bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Support Medicaid billing activities, submission tracking, and documentation processes

• Maintain organized records, data entry, filing systems, and financial documentation

• Assist with audit preparation and other accounting and administrative projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience supporting accounting, collections, accounts payable, accounts receivable

• Must have experience working in Sage Intacct and EZ Claim

• Strong knowledge of Medicaid billing, healthcare revenue cycle processes, or related reimbursement programs

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers compensation of $29 per hour for a part-time contract assignment with the potential for extension.
