Accounts Payable Specialist

A stable and growing company in Secaucus is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to join the team in a permanent role with a clear path to Staff Accountant
. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to gain hands‑on experience across accounting functions and grow within the organization.

• Process 100–150 AP invoices weekly with accuracy
• Perform 3-way matching and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain AP subledgers and ensure proper GL coding
• Assist with reconciliations and month‑end close
• Prepare check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Support accruals and expense tracking
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams
• Maintain organized AP records and files

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of Accounts Payable experience required
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• ERP experience (MS Dynamics a plus)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
