About The Role
We are seeking a RTV (Return to Vendor) Assistant to join our RMA department and to assist in order processing, order entry, and other duties as assigned. This position will be based in Secaucus, NJ.
What You Will Do- Count, sort and verify all incoming returned products to verify receipt of items on requisitions or invoices.
- Examine the returned items to verify conformance to specifications.
- Process orders; receive orders, close orders and perform heavy data entry responsibilities.
- Work with Warehouse department on storage of returned particles according to identifying information.
- Compile information and reports on use of stock, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage to stock, location changes, and other.
- Acquire approvals from management to process RMAs for replacement / credit.
- Coordinate the availability of parts for shipping and communicate with both internal departments and external customers on the status of RMAs.
- Comply and follow all procedures within company policy.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a self‑directed, high‑energy, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Knowledge in using SAP.
- Some previous office assistant / administrative experience.
- Good communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Lifting up to 40 lbs may be required – physical movement of products from one area to another.
- Ability to effectively address issues at all levels of management.
- Collaborative, flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to see the business needs through system requirements for smooth integration of the project.
- Education:
Associate’s Degree in Electronics or a Certificate of Completion from a Technical School preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 1 year of administrative related experience. Inventory management and/or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
Typical base salary is expected to be around $17/hr final base salary will be determined individually based on experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
