Data Entry Associate

Location: Good Counsel Homes, Secaucus, NJ

Position: Data Entry & Office Work

Hourly Rate: $16-$18

Join our team at Good Counsel Homes to provide life‑affirming care for homeless mothers and their babies. As a part‑time Data Entry Associate you ensure accurate record‑keeping and assist with donated gifts.

• Provide excellent customer service to callers, prospects, and donors visiting the office.
• Enter and update donor data in Raisers Edge CRM (including NXT) with precision and confidentiality.
• Accurately reconcile donations with corresponding Gift Codes.
• Produce "Batch" reports from Raisers Edge.
• Possibly pick up mail weekly (or occasionally) from a Hoboken post office box.
• Process credit card donations.
• Secure donor financial data daily.
• Occasionally double‑count cash from Parish Speaking.
• Call prospective donors inviting to Special Events 4-6 times a year.
• Call past and prospective sponsors to co‑sponsor Special Events.
• Help with sign‑in, etc., for Special Events 2-3 evenings a year.
• Mail Thank You letters.
• Shred documents regularly.
• Occasionally aid in selling donations of stock.
• Keep a clean, organized office area.

• A passion for helping moms and babies inspired by Catholic teaching on life and sexuality (no exceptions).
• Proof‑reading skills for Thank You Letters.
• Good phone skills and people skills.
• Basic ability to engage in data entry and MS Office.
• Ability to handle confidential information discretely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data.
• Team player.
• Positive outlook.
